Here is a personal message to the people of Wootton Bassett from UKIP MEP Godfrey Bloom (Trooper 24165942):
"As an ex-serviceman myself I have always been deeply moved and indeed heartened by the dignity and compassion shown by the people of Wootton Bassett when our war dead are returned to their families via RAF Lyneham.
"I have made the trip back from Afghanistan myself with these brave fellows happily with no dead or seriously injured aboard.
"My Muslim friends, I have many, are horrified that their reputations may be besmirched by the disgusting Islam4UK people and their unwanted presence in this last piece of Old England which holds Old English values so dear.
"Worse, Sir Hugh Orde, so typical of today’s 'modern' Chief Constable seems to think it is within the law.
"I do not remember when treason became okay but I am quite sure he does not reflect the views of my local Chief Constable, an ex-para.
"Well let me make it clear, Sir Hugh, if they turn up at Wootton Bassett so will I and many like me and no, I won’t be bringing any women or children, just me, my anger and a still-operational right hook for anyone foul-mouthing our soldiers." Back to Articles |
